The Hlaalu "Stronghold" (possible spoiler?)

Post by Birdsfly »

So, I go to the far shores of Vivec to buy an expensive land deed, and go to Ebonheart to get the permission. I talk to the ORc, and get a small house. Fair enough, i think, after all, its just the first stage!

Afterwards, I travel far and wide to get a few miners to work in some bad-smelling, poorly lighted cave, and I get my "reward".

And what is the reward?! Have I travelled so far to let some new guy live on my property?! Or have I missed something, except the wall?
Looking for a MOD that don't need any Expanisons, and can run on Morrowind 1.20blahblah without any errors, that lets you play as a Huge(At least a little big) hairy monster! MSG me if you got one!

As far as i know, you just found an expensive way for some mouchers to move in and leach off of you, I never got any kind of reward, so it was jst a big waste of time

Well after the first stage you do get some half decent loot you can sell (I assume you already found it though). ;)

There is a third stage to complete as well..

Basically, though, the strongholds tend to be a bit on the small side which is why so many people download house mods. I tend to like the Hlaalu over the others, however, because it is not in the Ashlands, and it is a convenient Almsivi Intervention to Balmora.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

You didn't need to get the miners, what you needed to do was go to Gnisis and buy a scroll of cure blight, then go to the mine and cure the kwama queen then return to complete the second stage. After the third stage you'll be able to live in the stronghold...is this person called Rethan? if so then that is who is supposed to be in the mansion (thats if you were doing Redoran or Telvanni stronghold missions)
There should be 2 people in there anyway on the ground floor of the Rethan Manor.

And only the Redoran and Hlaalu strongholds are small, quite like the Uvirith Manor with the Telvanni...but there are some nice house mods.
