Fable Online
Fable Online
Is there anyone here who, using the xbox, plays fable online?
If there is what exactly do i need to play online, how does it work and does it run smoothly?

I tend to appear briefly and disappear very quickly after that, try not to let it bother you.

Well as far as I know, which I've never actually looked this up, but I don't think you can play Fable online. It's just single player. But, to play online you need a Dsl or Cable modem, can't play xbox online with dial up. You also need to sign up a subscribtion. I don't think you need pay anything, but the subscription is manditory. You also need to go to some place that sells video game equipment and get an Xbox Live starter set. So you get the head set, the Xbox Live adaptor to play Xbox online, and the what not. I don't play Xbox online, but I'm sure the games run smoothly.
I kill two dwarves in the morning, I kill two dwarves at night. I kill two dwarves in the afternoon, and then I feel alright. I kill two dwarves in time of peace and two in time of war. I kill two dwarves before I kill two dwarves, and then I kill two more.
I may be bad, but I feel good.

Ok.... All the specs for XBox.
Hey all, I'm new.... But I work at a Hollywood Video/Game Crazy in North America. Here's the deal with the XBox.... It's a subsciption based service. You either pay them 50 dollars a year or 6 bucks a month to play online. Other servers have the right and some excercise it to charge you extra amounts and fees for plaing on their servers, such as the company that created "Phantasy Star Online." However, there are perks. Say Microsoft wants to patch or add new stuff to fable..... With XBox live, you can download that update right onto your machine. Crazy eh? So there are perks, but it costs $$$. I'm getting it simply because I like having my games updated, playing online, and that the service is good, plus it comes w/ a free headset!

Sort of.
It's not online as in the terms of an MMORPG however, if you enable the option and are connected to Xbox live, you can see other players in your world in the form of Orbs that show their gamertag and picture. By interacting with these orbs, which represent other people and will move where they move, you can enter that players realm in what you can call "Co-op mode". In fable 2, if you join anothers world you're just a sidekick but in Fable 3 you bring your actual hero and dog into the other players world. In fable 3 you can also get married, have children and even buy real-estate with other players.

That's a shame because it would make a great online game. I thinks it's a wonderful game and a breath of fresh air for a fantasy world. Though a little over loaded with features you are only going to use with the computer. Not other people. If any of you like Fable you might like: https://signup.ddo.com/ddo.php
It's a fun game and you can play it for free.
I hope they do reconsider making Fable an online game. It's just too colorful a world to waste as a single player.
