is there any portrait for baldurs gate that is of a half-orc? I atleast want my character to look like one until i get to BG2.

It is a list of portrait sites, all of which have a large collection of portraits. You may have to hunt for a half-orc one, but you should be able to find one somewhere!

You can import the half-orc portrait from BG2 if you like. Just copy the files and put them in your PORTRAITS directory, then select a Custom portrait when you create a character.
BTW, here is a site that has new renditions of the existing BG2 NPC portraits. I don't think there would be any problem with replacing portraits of the existing NPCs in BG1 (Imoen, Minsc, Jaheira, Viconia, Edwin) if you put the new portraits in the BG1 OVERRIDE directory. I especially like the Alternative Jaheira portrait, which makes her character sassy instead of just crabby.
