It is the deepest night...

Weasel is trying to get some sleep. It has been an awful night - nightmares ruining his sleap, dark silluetes emerging from the darkness to get a grip on his neck... a bolt of energy turning his body into ashes... oh, it has been a dreadfull night allright.

Weasel managed finally to sleep, but still it is not a undisrupted sleep.

Meanwhile...

A figure slips through the darkness... one with the shadows, dark as the night...

Like fog or mist, it runs through windows and doors, navigating it's way through Weasel's lair...

Finally, the shadow finds itself in Weasel's bedroom. The mighty fallen paladin is trying to sleep, but rest he doesn't get, for he is bewitched and under the influence of a horiblle spell. He doesn't know it yet, but these are his last moments...

The shadow begins to take form... in a few seconds, a face can be seen were just a while ago was pure darkness. The face is Bodhi's, the powerfull vampire who finds pleasure interfering in mortal people affairs

Bodhi walks slowly towards Weasel. He doesn't even notice her, so she soon is by his bed.

Words start coming out of her mouth, and a blood-red glow appears in her hands... the light forms a web and the web seals Weasel in it...

Crying like been tortured in the nine hells, Weasel wakes up, only to find out that his power is gone, and his abilities are reducced to those of a little child.

Next thing he notices is the presence of some people in his bedroom. In the front there is standing Gruntboy, playing nervously with his BIG knife... Besides him there are two other people, he does not know of. But according to his knowledge, the one should be Seabass, a mysterius man he knew only a little about.

Right beside him was another of his former allies, Ubik. Ubik Shadowkiller, the Evil Necromancer, with a smile in his handsome ( Image) face.

And just behind Ubik, another figure stands still... When Weasel recognizes Bodhi, he knows he is doomed. Maybe he could talk his way out of this with the others, but with Bodhi present... Anyway, there is no real reason to try to get out of it. He is doomed, anyway. That is the faith of his, and nothing can change it. Weasel has foreseen his death. Ubik and the others are just the instruments of his utter destruction.

Ubik talks...

Well, here we are, here he is. Bodhi told us you are useless... Oh, I see you allready recognized our new allie. Yes, my friend, she rides with us, and we are going to take what you posses.
you know we are here for this, don't you? Sorry to say this, but you are as good as dead, my friend. Let us say goodbye and be sure we will treat this artifact of yours with the greatest respect...

Gruntboy: Stop that smalltalk, Ubik. I want him to taste my blade. The filthy traitor will meet his gods in HELL.

with a smile Gruntboy emerges in the front and so does Serevon, wielding his two axes

...the silence of the night is disrupted by a cry of great pain and agony...

AND THAT'S just it for Weasel Image Image Image

Notes...

Since Minsc lost his head Boo is up for grabs..HAHAHAHAHAHA Image

KidD01 had already left before Ubik and the rest arrived and got there revenge on Weasel. He will be at the Copper C upstairs till ......(The Real KidD01 decides what will happen to him or gives control to someone else.) As for Viconia that will be up to Ubik and the rest with him to decide her fate.

As for the book all who read it become followers of Cyric and have to make a save vs feebleminded every time they read it. The spell (I can't remember the name) will cure the feebleminded part.

Magus steps into the conversation.
Magus: I suppose that's a good idea, Alienbob. I hate to dawdle anymore while Aerie's in trouble, but perhaps the Order will know something of this Omar. What troubles me is that I've never even heard of this person before. I'm the closest thing to a friend Aran has, and his staunchest supporter in his fight against Bodhi. I'm surprised he would leave me uninformed of such a powerful newcomer. But I digress...I'm sure the Order will be happy to help us against any ally of Bodhi's. But first we need to see Quayle, as I am bound to inform him of Aerie's abduction.
(Magus, Drakron, Alienbob, and Marya depart from the Copper Coronet, leaving behind a tale that would become a tavern legend.)

"No we should go to the Order first. this meeting with Quayle might be a trap. I would feel much better if we found some information about this Melosh-tar." reluctantly Magus agrees. Our heros make there way to the Order. As they step inside they are greeted by a young paladin. Alienbob hails him "We need to see Sir Ryan." the youth's eyes grow big as he recognizes the undead hunter and his friends. aparently they already are something of a legend in Athkatla.
Sir Ryan Trawl approaches. "Ah Bob, it is good to see you again."
Alienbob: "Same to you, though i wish it were under better circumstances. The events of the past few days have been hectic to say the least. A friend of ours was captured by a fallen paladin named Weasel. I have noticed that there are quite a few paladins who have fallen from the path of light and much evil is brewing. A clan of vampires has risen here in the city led by one named Bohdi."
"That is dire news indeed. I know nothing of this Weasel, but i can help you with the vampires. I will send ten of my best and most holy paladins and clerics to take care of this threat." Sir ryan replies.
Alienbob: "You have my thanks. Also one more thing, i recently came into contact with a paladin who was kicked out of the Order. His name his Melosh-Tar."
Sir Ryan answers "Melosh-tar. Yes i know who he is. He was a promising young warrior when he first came to us, and quickly rose through the ranks. unfortunatly his heart was full of greed. he was caught stealing gold from the treasury. We then banished him from this place forever. That was five years ago. he might have changed his ways in that time but who knows."
"I see. thank you for your time." Alienbob says. the group exits the building. "well that was not much help. i guess we should go to Quayle now, but be wary of an ambush."

No prob..

Weasel stumbles through one of the sevens doors of random transportation.(100% chance no one will go through the same door and come out in the same place) He falls to the ground his mind in a turmoil, bleeding like a stuck pig (Oink) He starts to fade, he knows he's losing consciousness .He has trouble even remembering his own name.
A woman appears in front of him and reaches out to him ,as his vision fades to black....

Possibly to be continued.......

As the group is leaving the building, Magus asks them to wait for a minute. He reenters and walks up to Sir Ryan Trawl.
Magus: Greetings, my lord. I have a proposition for you. I fear sending a small band of knights will only end in disaster, and disgrace to the Order. Instead, I recommend you put aside your natural distaste of the Shadow Thieves and their ways, and join them to fight a common enemy together. You must admit, they are the lesser of two evils, and essential to this city's economy. Without them, crime would be a much more chaotic and unpredictable thing, and it is the duty of the Knights to uphold order. Aran Lindvale is a good friend of mine, though I don't always agree with his choices or his methods, and he has always aided me in the past. I will be leaving soon, and I would like to assure that he isn't alone against this vile threat. Would you agree to work with him for the time being?
Sir Ryan Trawl: Helping thieves? Our honor could not allow it!
Magus: Please, Lord Knight. You wish to rid the city of this foul evil, correct?
Sir Ryan Trawl: Why of course!
Magus: And you admit that sending a lone party into the crypts is uncertain at best, and suicide at worst?
Sir Ryan Trawl: I see. But thieves? It would forever be a tarnish on our illustrious reputation. There must be another way.
Magus: I'm afraid not, Lord Trawl. The situation is much worse than a mere guild war. The existence of an artifact of immense magical power has been discovered by an evil cavalier named Weasel, and I fear knowledge of it has leaked far and wide. Too many questionable occurences have been happening lately for it to be just a coincedence. A powerful necromancer named Ubik knew of Weasel's plots, and word has it that he has joined with Bodhi. If somebody with evil intent got a hold of the artifact...it could have dire consequences for all of Faerun. For this reason alone, Bodhi and her accomplices must be stopped, whatever the cost.
Sir Ryan Trawl looks tired, and for the first time his age seems to show. "Then I was not mistaken. I gathered from my God that something was terribly amiss, but I didn't want to believe it. Now I cannot deny it any longer. Very well, Magus (he sighs). I shall cooperate with the Shadow Thieves.
Magus: One more thing, Lord Knight.
Sir Ryan Trawl (wearitly): You need not call me such. You have proved you are a wise man, and certainly my equal. Now what is it?
Magus: I mentioned earlier I needed to leave the city. I normally wouldn't leave during such a time of need, but outside circumstances demand it. My dearest love, Aerie, has been abducted by an accomplice of Bodhi, Omar. Do you know of such a person, and where he could be heading?
Sir Ryan Trawl: The name sounds vaguely familiar...yes, I've heard the Cowled Wizards know something of him...he's a powerful member of the underworld, and has crossed their path many a time. Go see them for what you seek. I'm sure their enigmatic ways would suit your tastes better than this old servant.
Magus: Thank you...Sir Trawl. Your help is most appreciated. I'll tell Aran that he has a new and much needed ally. I hope he's alright...he never even told me that this Omar showed up in town... Farewell, and may your Order prevail over the foul evil invading this once peaceful city.
Sir Ryan Trawl: Farewell, good mage. I trust when you get back you shall regale me with your beautiful partner?
Magus (gives a wistful smile): I shall, Sir Trawl. I shall.
Magus walks out to rejoin the others, and they set off to the Circus.

Sidenote: I think I should get a reward for sheer length Image...but I couldn't help it. I was really trying to simulate a realistic conversation.

Sidenote: Just writing to notify those interested that I changed my username...and to state that I am gone from the computer on most weekdays til 5:30 PM. So Alienbob and Drakron, feel free to fill in for me, or the party of good will never get anywhere. I've got to go now, but when I get time buckle down for another flashback! My English teacher would be so proud...me writing for fun and all. This story's really getting good IMHO.

Well you are forcing me to tup this.
there is much confusion about the artifact that weasel posses. crinishad.
Its only a book that converts people(even gods) to worship Cyric.and that is it. weasel is being use by the god Cyric and that is the god that gives Weasel the powers that he sometimes shows.my intent is to get the book back to were he belongs,Rinda, the scribe that have the book in the AD&D world.
so dont get any ideas about the power of the book.of couse that only weasel knows what the artifact really is, I dont know but I suspect and every one else also (unless you are working or have conections with the Harpers who knows that the book is missing and its on Amn) dont know what artifact weasel have, only that had given weasel great power.
If you want to know more about artifacts go donwload "volo guide to everthing magical" the link in on the Poll of radiance forum (Gamebanshee of course) in the demo topic.
