Hi there!
We're starting a new game, Arcanum, and would like to know if anyone knows of a website that has 'cheats'? We've found basically the same 4 cheats over and over (get money, blah, blah, blah). What we were hoping to find is something like 'deBugMode' where we can get items that might have been overlooked. Another thing we would hope to find is a 'saved game' cheat, where we can go to a particular place in the game. Anyone have any good leads? Thanks!
Anything but a walkthrough?

Take care,

There is an editor out there for stats and experience. Only, depending on what version of the game you have, it may mess up the game something royal. Also, as far as I remember, the thing is a real pain to install. I think that's about it as far as cheats go. Good luck with the game, though. It's really good.

There are some cheats, game editor and a few bug fixes not included in official patch(eg. full Nasrudin's dialog). There's also a lot od stuff if you're doing your own mods.

Arcanum resources
I have found gamefaqs to be a good source for the most helpful info for any of the crpg's I have played; walkthoughs, cheats, editors, etc. I'm not sure what is available at rpgplanet, but I downloaded a savegame editor from fileplanet that works pretty well after a bit of trial & error. Of course fileplanet can be painfully slow if you don't have a high speed connection, but overall I thought the savegame editor worth it. It allows you to 'cheat' but only to a certain degree. So far as I have been able to determine, there aren't any item editors available. I'm still in the early stages of my first game of Arcanum and I have found the savegame editor to be a big help for me as I quickly get tired of dying and starting over. Hope this info helps...

money editor
Are there any money editors? Cause I don’t want to edit the skills of my character (that’s just not interesting to be a Superman), but I would like to edit the money, to have more of them! And I mean editor not some way to steel or whatever, I mean editor. If there is, can anyone post a link to it, please! Thank you!!!!

I've not found any money editors, but there's an extremely easy way to get more money that you could even need in Arcanum: just train in the Haggle skill. It's extremely unbalanced. Once you've got three ranks in this, merchants will sell you everything at ridiculously low prices, and buy from you at exorbitant ones.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Arcanum
There is no need to cheat on anything. Arcanum has many side quests and you could do many side quests to earn points. If you use the level127 mod you'll see that you can earn 110 points when you complete the game.
Money is not so important. When I run as a mage I buy 7 or 8 mage staffs at a cost of 2200 to 2500 gold. But I only use these when indoors. And this need takes most of my money early in the game. So I found ways around any other money task. I kill the Lukan and his men at the shrouded hill gate. Travel by teleportation with no cost of gold. I use the low healing and major heal so no need to buy a room for a night. I use master of repair so all weapons worth keeping and armor can be repaired. There is plenty of mana around so I don't by many of those but I do buy the fatigue slower and thick skin potions. I use strigy pete's quest to get a boat to Thantos. I don't use the boat from thantos because you can teleport back once there. I save morganas tears for the Void. I don't use any money after I've settled on weapons and armor and potions. So you don't need money unless your mastering for haggle. There is no 'need' for any other cheats because the game is only regular at the hard setting and you gain 6 levels from the crash site to shrouded hills if you kill everything on the trail down from the crashsite and complete all quests.
