What I could find.
This thread on the Atari forums seems to have a clue, altough maybe not the answer. One of the Co8 members mentions that having an NPC in the lead position causes problems with quests registering. Still, seeing as you have been experienced with the game, I'm almost convinced that this may not be the problem. Is it?
Unfortunately, no other replies to such problems seem to have come about.
