NWN: Monk/Druid

Post by Taco Magus »

I was thinking of making a monk/druid. Does the monk still get his bonuses if he were shapechanged? any suggestions or comments are welcome :)

He gets the bonuses. A monk 15 druid 25 gets to use elemental shape 1 or 3 times a day. With flurry and the other bonuses, he'll become a mean killingmachine

Shadows of Undrentide: Fighter, paladin or a class with lots of hp. Wizards and sorceres is the hardest to play ( my oppinion)

Hoards of the Underdark: Any class you prefer (i have completed the game with Wizard, cleric, monk, barbarian, rogue. All of them was fun)

I'd go druid, to get summons and some basic spells (Barkskin on a Monk... Hmmm that would work.). That way, you'll have a little bit of an easier time with the general gist of monsters and the like.

Cheers,

I was already playing SOU ( paladin20/ranger20) but found it necessary to change classes...don't ask why, I just felt I had to do that :) Anyway, I'm now a half-elve, monk15/ranger15/wizard10 and this works so much better then the paladin/ranger! I have the animal compagnion and the wizard familiar and enough defense spells to get through the Library at Part 2 without being cursed and getting blind. I hope :D
I wanted to add Druid instead of Ranger, but for some reason that wasn't possible.

@Leoneke
Check your alignment, mate. A Monk has to be Lawful and a Druid has to be Neutral.

Edit: As Doom says! :)
