Problems Engaging In Combat

Post by Darth Meridies »

What the hell is going on?

I just picked up KOTOR yesterday and I'm really frustrated already. Every time I engage in battle the f*cking computer indicates that I have encountered an enemy (pausing my progress in the process). Then when I am ready to fight, my ability to engage is effectively eliminated. The computer seems to takeover. My ability to hit my enemy is pretty much non-existent and I cannot control the style and direction of my attack. Wha tthe hell is going on?

My character has just spoken with Gadon and witnessed two Black Vulkars agree to pay Davik his cut.

I am just f*cking exhausted with this game. I need help. I want to control my goddamned character.

well, i can't think of anything other than that your free battle movement is disabled. It is by far the stupidest thing to have ever existed in an rpg, but its there. Check the options and disable it. About the auto pause, you can also fix that in the options.
