I wasn't too happy with that test either - a lot of times I didn't like any of the choices.

Centerville-You would feel most at home in Centerville, which means that you are more or less pleased the status quo-you think the US government has just about the right amount of control over your economic and personal decisions. Your neighbors include democratic and republican party leaders and others who call themselves "moderates" and "centrists."

Very much so, at least 75% of all my answers were prefixed by "strongly." And in some cases I was wishing that I could have said "vehemently."

I think that the questions, many of which are hot buttons, are quite deliberately designed to provoke a fairly intense response.

This has been around for some time - it makes sense to have more than a linear political scale but I just don't like labels.

I fit smack in the centre of the axes. Surprised?

I turned out in the center, as well. Not much of a test, but then, there are too much issues where an individual simply isn't going to vote according to a pre-planned platform or theory.

My desire to solve problems with force is obviously balanced by my liberal views on public nudity. :D

@Lazarus: Looks like we pretty much were on the same sheet of music on both tests. :D

Lazarus' Test:

NW-You would feel most at home in the Northwest region. You advocate a large degree of economic and personal freedom. Your neighbors include folks like Ayn Rand, Jesse Ventura, Milton Friedman, and Drew Carey, and may refer to themselves as "classical liberals," "libertarians," "market liberals," "old whigs," "objectivists," "propertarians," "agorists," or "anarcho-capitalist."

pretty accurate, not surprising.

Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: 2.50
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -4.00

West-You are a Westerner-a civil libertarian-which means that you advocate a diminished role for the government in the personal realm. You are more or less pleased the government's role in the economic realm.
If I asked, would you answer? Its your problem. Its a deep, deep problem. I have no way to ask about that... I have no elegant way of stepping into your heart without tracking in filth. So I will wait. Someday, when you want to tell me, tell me then. -Bleach

South-You are a Southerner-an egalitarian-which means that you advocate an increased role for the government in the economic realm. You are more or less pleased the government's role in the personal realm

In a stright line between Al Gore and Jesse Jackson, I am found in the middle.

Although I have no idea what that means.

That makes sense. After all, it's easiest to defeat a nude person in combat. :)

Economic Left/Right: -1.62
Authoritarian/Libertarian: 0.97

Well if anyone did agree with that I doubt they would have either the nerve or stupidity to admit it anywhere around here
Actually I answered I agree, women should work at home..
Not strongly agree though :D after all I couldn't change the trend :D

*wears bulletproof suit*

(as a Moderator closed a thread, because this one was priorly created :)

I got an "Economic Left/Right: -0.12, Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.46". Ahh, the bliss of neutrality.
I sincerely wish we could re-consider this plan from a perspective that involved pants.

Hell knows what that means, I'm in the middle of everything apparently even though I'd rather kill half the world to increase my power. What a silly test

This isn't a good/evil test; I don't see how the two above oppose eachother ;)
