damn ball and chain...

Post by Yodafish »

alright, i bought a house, got married, and even got some nookie. but now when i go back to town, my house says its for sale and the door is locked. what gives? could failing a quest somehow have lost my woman? my stats still show that i've been married. i just can't find her anymore...

thanks y'all!

Go to the town where you think she is and look on your map for the blip that means your wife, click the right thumb stick down to get the map to expand, also check to see if she had a job, ex: if she is a shopkeeper or hairdresser or some such, she can be found in her respective store or place of busines

Well you'll notice that people in towns, even the shop keepers, move around the town from time to time. She's probably just at the pub or something.
I kill two dwarves in the morning, I kill two dwarves at night. I kill two dwarves in the afternoon, and then I feel alright. I kill two dwarves in time of peace and two in time of war. I kill two dwarves before I kill two dwarves, and then I kill two more.
I may be bad, but I feel good.

Seeing how the wife is gone AND the house is for sale again.

What probably happened is you started a quest, took time out to get married and fool around, the continued on the quest and failed. The game goes back to the point it was at before you took the quest. In which case the wife and house would be gone.
Insanity takes its toll, ... Please have exact change.

...or she's at the pub! But... if it says your house is for sale again, maybe wild bill is right. I didn't know that about failing quests. Haven't had the learning experiance.
