ah, first post here... hello to all =]
I got this game recently in anticipation of bloodlines to check out this Vampire the Masquerade world. Anyway I'm still in Prague (right now in the first level of "Ardan's Chantry") and I have a question about feeding.
I've been using those 3 monks near the entrance to the monastary for all my feeding needs whenever I'm in the town, and well, it's getting tedious waiting for them to heal their blood supply. I don't want to have to deal with trying not to kill the guards all over town just to keep my humanity up, but there's gotta be a better way than this. Refilling on the tremere in the chantry is really helpful, not to mention makes the fights a lot easier as all I have to do is sit back and watch their blood supply get devoured. But there has to be an easier way to feed in town without spending cash.
ideas for a newb anyone?
Newb in Prague, need help feeding
Sorry, i'm a lousy vampire, i always buy blood in a shop, never suck on anyone's neck. Of course you'll randomly find bloodpouches, bloodstones, bloodpearls, and bottles of vitae here and there, but i always bring a small stash of my own. I don't worry too much about spending too much money on blood, i much rather make it through the levels in one piece.
Whenever I try to feed on some innocent sod, the guards _always_ come running, so I gave up on those and went for the guards instead. They are quite ok - other guards usually don't come running to help them (unless some guard is patrolling nearby) and pedestrians don't seem to mind too much either. But you may want to be somewhat skilled in feeding, and don't let your friends stay too close (if you fail at first they may kill him). If you fail you can always run to some other guard and feed on him instead.
I had one specialized in feeding, and when she was full she'd just let others feed on her and then she'd go get some more.

Thanks for the tips. Tried goin for the guards on the Judith Bridge (I think that's the name?). Didn't realize they actually run away after you bite them instead of continuing to try and kill you. Unfortunately I didn't let go of the other guard in time and he died. Oh well, at least it was Serena that lost humanity, and she already had lower humanity to begin with. More unholy equipment to try out!
