anyone still here???help wanted

I'm stuck in the sewers near the treasure room everytime i try to pick the lock it says i can't do that here??
and yes i am trying the pick the lock on the door not wall or anything...

anybody got a clue??/spoiler

First off, which sewers, which treasure room? There are several sewer-based dungeons in the game. Same thing, for treasure rooms.

Join the Thieves Guild in Verdistis' tavern. (You'll want to, anyway.) Talk to one of the bartenders about it. After you become a member, you can ask him for a key that will let you into the treasure room.
