What have I done?

I am a member of most organisations on Morrowind, but I can no longer advance in the Fighters Guild or the Imperial Legion because I killed the head of the fighters for the theives. I killed Varus Vatinius in a duel and advanced from champion. Is there any other way to advance in these factions?

Also, I got Wraithguard before i was hortator of Hlaalu or Telvanni and when I was the Neverarine of the first tribe, is this usual?

Has anyone been able to find the island with all the daedra on it that azura asks you to find when you go to her shrine, because I looked for it and cannot find it.

Sorry about all the questions, as I am fairly new to the game and the forum.

I'm not sure if there's anything you can do about the fighters guild and the Imperial Legion, but I can help you find that island. Go to Dagon Fel and head north, swim out to the chain of Islands above it and follow them west and you'll find it.

you can't advance to grand master in both fighters guild and thieves guild, i assume that you've joined both before doing some quests that makes it impossible to join the other guild..

Thanks i'm on pc and I was wondering if there is any way to ressurect Varus Vatinius. I've seen cheats, but I can't get them to work.
