A few questions.
-Somewhere in the Irenicus prison I found a couple of keys (key of frost,...)
Am I supposed to do something with it?
-In the room next to Renal bloodscalp (thieves guild) I stole some weird ale. What to do with it? I also have a alchemist potion (temple of Lathander) and a strange-coloured antidote (Jan's home), again, what to do with it?
btw: Is it possible to play out the game if you kill EVERYTHING that moves (so also the important persons (Aran,...)

He conquers who endures.
I don't think you can kill whatever moves (especially Aran) because then a very mean and nasty mf comes out and he kicks your ass in a very definite way (his sword kills instantly).
As for the other question, I have been wondering about some of those items (plus the empty potion bottles) myself.
The keys in the Irenicus dungeon are for disabling the wand traps, and you can give the ale to the kids in Umar hills (minor quest). Dunno what you can do with the others.
Are they of any use???

The alchemists potion kills Ogres, this is useful for a quest, I can't remeber which one though...

It depends on your party. If your happy with who you got go ahead and do Trademeet,Umar Hills and Windsper Hills. If you want Imoen in your party go ahead with the last thief quest.

I use chapter 2 (before either of the 'go get Imoen' tracks) to buff up my main PC and the NPC's I intend to keep in my party. This also lets me build a pretty good inventory of weapons, armor, spells, gold and potions before I wind up in the 'ok so now that you've got Imoen' track.....
But it's all a matter of personal preference.
