Stuck in a glitch

Just went to Drow city and was given 1st quest to rescue Phaere, but when I speak to Solaufein in front of flayers city, he just says he wants to think about the future. Nothing I do allows me to fight the flayers and continue on with the game.

I believe you need to talk to the person beside him ican't remember her name.If not go to the bar and talk to everyone there.
