I have always heard that this is one of the hardest fights in BG2. All my friends said so, this is my first time finishing Watchers keep. So i was really scared of taking on the followers. All i was going to do was check where they spwaned, so i didn't buff or nothin. So when they turned up i thought what the heck, and charged them. And guess what, i swamped them. A comet from Edwin knocked out Yei Win Toh, Amoralis and The Huntress, all sarevok did was slit their throat. Korgan and Keldorn released their power and all was pwnd.
I thougt this was going be hard, but it wasn't. Is this what everybody feels or what? btw, had on Core rules
I think there was a mod to make that battle much more interesting (read: difficult), but I don't recall the name.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
Y'all think that fight is easy?? I'm impressed. I don't think I ever beat them without a reload, except with the Korgan-Sarevok-Viconia-Edwin-party. Compared to that one, Demogorgon was never that hard for me.
She says: Lou, it's the Beginning of a Great Adventure
OOOh you can get a harder demogorgan though! It makes it much harder. As for the original topic, ummm yes there are countless ways to build a party to make a fight easier or plan ahead.
Though im impressed you managed to knock out 3 of them with 1 comet. I always end up doing some timestop and wish and unload the entire spell book into them for a kill.
Tact is for people not witty enough to be sarcastic
If you have a fairly large melee-heavy party and you take out the right people quickly with a few well-placed spells or summons, the fight isn't really all that hard. Looks like you just found the right balance for it.
