My understanding is that Paladins don't have a stronghold, rather they have the Stronghold quest to get Carsomyr (your Holy Avenger +5). Check out the quest section on Paladins.

They supposedly get a room at the order of the radiant heart...although my paladin was never able to sleep there...which kinda sucks but you can store stuff in one of the rooms if you like. The main quest for a paladin is to get the sword from firkragg. Oh you also get an armor "protector of the second" its a -1 ac armor if you complete all the paladin quests
it can be very tricky to earn..go to the copper coronet and talk with fierkraag, accept his quest of going to windspear hills and slaying marauders...to find out its disguised knigths!....talk with garren windsspear....rest and watch one of his kids get abducted, agree to save it and head down in firkraags dungeon...and down to the dragon....do NOT attack him...but say you came for the child..go up and attack conster.slay him and get the key..now head back to warren..who say he will put in a good word for you at the radiant heart..go there and get the paladin quests....you will not get that option if you destroyed firkraag earlier

Nothing good as far as I can tell. My experience with the Fighters keep is that it is just a source of side-quests (the money is trivial at that point in the game). I do like having a keep, however. And I do sleep in it when I get a chance, just because I think it is cool. I even walk into the bedroom and my 5 NPCs and PC all shack-up.
