NWN strange Ch 3 hang up

I've run into a problem with the Erb quest and getting his ring back. When I go to Jadale's mansion and speak with her, she mentions nothing about a ring. I've tried taunting her (bad idea), killing her (even worse, because after I get the ring that way, I can't give it back to Erb), and have reverted back to previous save points trying to figure this out. Is this a bug, or did I do something out of order?

Sounds like a bug.
Try talking to Erb again and see if he speaks to you as if you haven't gotten the quest, it might be a mess up in the dialog sequence.

I'm stuck into the same problem : It's just as if I spoke with Erb each time for the first time ... And it continues with the side quest from Yvette !!

Is your game patched? - there were a lot of bugs (possible still) in Luskan, and some got fixed in the patches.

I did have the game patched up to 1.64 just the other day, which I thought would have fixed my problem too, but no such luck
