can't complete Kangaxx quest !

I can't enter the Lich sanctuary in the sewers near the cult of the blind !
What do I need to open the magically closed door ?

See Gaal in the cult of the blind and accept his quest, he will give you a key to open the door. look for traps.

Oooops rv666, I'm afraid you did the same mistake as I did the first time I ran into the cult people. Even killed the beholder in my fury!!!
And then... I had to replay about 5 hours - the last save before the quest was pretty old
