Where's Gilles gone??? (NWN: Chapter 1 Spoiler)

Post by Uber Mensch »

The first time I met Gilles at the Moonstone Mask I was rather rude - told him I wasn't interested in selling Temple of Tyr artefacts to him (I'm playing a lawful goody-two shoes). He went off in a huff. I've found and returned 3 of the 4 Temple of Tyr quest items items but can't find the 4th. Apparently, Gilles had 'Jacob's Quill' on him when I was being rude? My problem is Gilles has now disappeared - not at the Moonstone Mask (unless he's drunk under a table). Anyone know where I can find him? Or has he gone for good (leaving me unable to complete this quest)?

Thanks,

Uber

Well... he does have the quill on him. The funny thing is, atm I cannot see any script or trigger on him that'd cause him to disappear, so he should be there somewhere regardless of what you said...? =/

Just in case he really -is- gone, you can spawn the quill with:
## DebugMode 1
## dm_spawnitem M1S1Quill
## DebugMode 0

He usually dissaperes after you have talked to him and upsets him (whether or not you get the quill)

By the way - I've added a spoiler tag to the thread title because of the spoilerish content.

Really? Hm, probably a trigger in the dialogue itself... didn't look there. :)

Cheers

Thanks for the advice - and sorry about not flagging the spoilerish content.
