Do Viconia and Keldorn go together

Post by Julian »

I've done a forum seach. But all people say is how irritating Anomen is.
But my question is: Do Viconia and Keldorn go together?

As he is a goody paladin and she is a drow. Will they break of and fight, or live in harmony

It's been my experience that any two characters will work together *if* you keep your reputation in the "non-threatening" range to all moralities. Get outside that, and your party members become edgy, start arguing with one another, and even fight.

Others have posted that certain characters in their party always attack others when present, but I have to wonder whether this is due, as I've written, to reputation. I've played through 5 times (though not recently), and the conflicts others reported didn't happen as long as the rep stayed safe. Just my POV.

(Of course, if you'd rather not keep your rep in the average range, then yes, Viconia and Keldorn will definitely not get along. Unless you download a mod that removes this feature, and allows all party members to coexist in perfect harmony at all times. Without singing campfire songs, however.)
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

typically from what i have seen (from my experience and others who have posted) is that after a while keldorn and viconia will start fighting and one will say if the other i not gone in three days they are leaving. after three days they both leave the group and have a fight to the death.

I've had som problems concerning ease of use in iwd2, it screwed up my whole game, everything from save games to random treasure and didn't get correct items in quest etc.

Will i have the same problems with SoA, have Tob with latest patch installed

I've been running the EoU Mod for BG2 for a while now, with three different games, and everything is fine. I doubt you'll have any problems with it.

Cheers,

My Rep is always 19- 20-ish and I have never had them fight at all. I guess thats almost the same as fable.

Best wishes; Edar Macilrille

I thought I had read somewhere that Viconia's alignment could be changed, or am I thinking of BG1? If so, would that not resolve the alignment opposition problem neatly?

You can use SK to change it, but the game doesn't change it, I'm certain.

I don't think changing it would stop the problem though.

SPOILER (highlight to read): viconia's alignment change is part of the romance in ToB. it can be done, but by that time, with keldorn in the party, they will have fought. one of them must go i'm afraid.

Sometimes EoU or any other mod won't come into effect half way through a game, or it may be buggy. Better to do it before you start the game if your going to install it.
