HELP - Nalia Quest

Post by Windhorse »

Can someone please help? I've finished the quest killed everything (including Golems!) apart from Umber Hulks. Yet when I leave - no Nalia, no Quint, no Gold and no EXP. My character is a monk so I can't get my stronghold either! Please help.

TorGal and his Giant Troll are behind the Umber Hulks in cellar where you will find her dead father and once that is done that should be it (apart for the quest that comes after the funeral)

Did you arrange to meet nalia back when you were in the copper coronet?

Sounds like you've missed an event somewhere. Hmmmm.

Yas I agreed to meet Nalia at copper coronet but when I got there all she does is ask to join the party. So I went back to the keep and looked around and found a couple of wandering trolls but nothing else. Any ideas what I missed?

It's been a little while since I did the quest but I don't remember if you have to talk to the guy outside the castle (the one with the arrows) or any of the others there. I think so but not 100% Im sure that one will come with a better answer but if not it's worth a shot.

good luck!

When you first meet Nalia she will either join your party or go ahead to the keep. If you joined her up then kicked her back to the copper coronet you may have to pick her up before going back to the keep. Is this the situation you're in?

Anyone, do you *need* Nalia to complete the quest? I haven't done it without her (*ahem*, not 'it' Image).

I have done the quest both with and without Nalia. If you send her ahead to the keep she is in the palisade, and there she stays until the quest is completed. Don't know what happens if you let her join then kick her out though.

If you can't resolve the situation, don't restart or anything drastic like that. Having a keep really isn't a big deal in this game (besides the coolness factor). It only really gives you a few more side quests and a small amount of gold (500 a week is really not much, and the side quests cost you a lot).

this has now happened to me. I'm a monk too but in my case it's probably because I failed a pickpocket, fought, and I guess Nalia freaked and ran away. She's gone (wasn't in my group to begin with) and the Captain is dead. hehe.. I'm evil, what else could I do?

But I think I blew it - The Lady is there but Nalia's nowhere to be found and I can't cheat her back. Anyone else run into this?

Hehe you evil sob. Having the keep is really more of a hassle than an asset. The exp for the quests are laughable. And if you decide to have Nalia in your party, having her arrested after you've just rest up before a big dragon confrontation is no fun either. The only gratifying thing about havng the keep and doing the quest is that you can to kill Roenall at the very end.

But I want it! I wanna put the raving merchant to death, bleed the people dry, etc. I wanna do evil some justice here.

I've got Edwin so who needs Nalia? I hate Nalia.. but where'd she go?!

Personally, I think it'd be really cool to get the option from Iseah (sp?) to kill Nalia and help him run slaves outta the Keep.. that'd bring some money in :D

You mentioned that you killed everything in the keep... But did you lower the drawbridge? I'm fairly certain that it's necessary for finishing the quest.

You can still finish the quest without lowering the bridge, much like how you can still finish the quest without cooking the dogmeat for the Umberhulks. Although neglecting either is not recommended since doing them gives good exp.

Not sure what exactly went wrong in his case, but probably has something to do with kicking Nalia out at the Copper Coronet beforehand. Try this for a fix, just go back to wherever you left Nalia and bring her to the Keep. If that still doesn't work, try entering and exiting the Keep. Sometimes events are triggered by passing through Auto-Save areas.
