Leveling up and ex points

Can anyone tell me the maximum hit points a character can get when leveling? I know it's different for each class, and I can't find it in the game manual.

The hitpoints are in the list at the end of the manual. In the experience points lists, look at the far right column, labelled Hit Dice. It will tell you how many hit points that particular class is awarded per level-up. There are bonuses added to that depending on constitution scores, but only from level 1 to 9.
