Cerberus Statue Problem

Post by Andreas »

Folks, I've a bit of a problem here.
Usually, I play BG2 as a ranger and after I finished all quest you receive the Cerberus statue.
Problem is that after I used it, it's gone.
And it's not coming back. Is it a one time only item. After I used it, I waited a whole day (3 times resting) but the statue failed to reappear in my inventory.
Is it a bug??
I really like that dog and it kicks ass real good.
Any help on this???

It sounds like you have encountered another bug. You can CLUA it in:

CLUAConsole:CreateItem("MISC7T")
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Or even easier, use ShadowKeeper.

Life seems short considering how long you will be dead.

I always found it odd, as the Golem Manual, which is similar, doesn't disappear with every use. What happens when your inventory is full at the time its supposed to reappear?

There is a noted (and fixed) bug on the Baldurdash page which states the statue will disappear if the character who used it is dead when it's time for it to reappear.

However my main character was doing the summoning IIRC.
