I'm a big fan of...
- Axe of the Unyielding +5 (dual-wielded with Crom Faeyr)
- Flail of Ages +5 dual-wielded with Storm Star +5
- Ravager +6 (seriously, this is better than Carsomyr for most fights.)
- Staff of the Ram +6
Really, anything Cespenar makes is worth having. Which ones you choose to get depend mostly on how your party is made up. If you don't have anybody with halberd proficiency, ravager won't be worth much to you. If you don't have anybody with flail proficiency, flail of ages won't be very good.
The best thing to do is to figure out all the weapons you want, and make sure your party has space for all of them. You don't want flail of ages to sit unused because the only person with flail skill is using something else...

Not sure if anyone's tried this but, I like to dual Aerie with Crom Fayer and Rune Hammer.. It takes some work in SoA, but you slowly work her profs in hammer and dual.

Who doesn't hate paladins (lousy do-gooders never want to slaughter villagers for fun!). However a high-level thief or fighter/thief can also wield Carsomyr. I took on the black dragon at the end of SoA with a fighter/thief wielding it. The only downside to Carsomyr is that it sets magical resistance to 50%, so if you have more than that already your resistance is lowered.

I much prefer giving her staff of the ram, and using Crom Faeyr on one of my fighters (especially with runehammer, axe of the unyielding, etc.)

True. Staves and slings are probably her best weapons, 'specially when you take her spellcasting into account, but there is just something about seeing the "weakest" character becoming one of the strongest.Originally posted by LotharBot.
