Pirate´s wife in Oakvale disappeared

I talked to the Pirate´s wife down at the beach and she told me about her husband.
I left the game for a while and then reloaded. So...now i guess, i had to talk to her again to get the quest again?

I went down to the beach - she was still there, but i went back to the guild before talking to her. When i returned from the guild, she was gone
I know where to find his husband and went there, but he wasn´t there either.

I reloaded a couple of times with the same result
So - is this a bug?

you need to do this side quest befor the bandit camp quest

Yeah i know - and i did not start that quest yet, so that is not the reason why she is gone, i guess
