graphics problem with bloodlines

Post by sophosuni »

I have a serious problem with vampire bloodlines. I
have installed it and run it but the screen goes fuzzy
and a message from the monitor comes up saying it is
out of range. HF range is 30 - 95Kz, VF is 47 - 160
Hz. the message says the game display is running at HF
98, VF 150. Which means the HF is out of range. I have
never had anything like this problem happen before
with any other game or piece of software. My Monitor
Is a Hansol 710D.

I have installed all up to date drivers and
uninstalled and reinstalled the game with no change.
Direct X is also up to date. I am still able to swap
to other programs and the display returns to normal
which means the problem is specific to the game.

you need to go into your settings and change the monitor's refresh rate to 60. the problem is strictly because your monitor isn't agreeing with game's settings.

do this:
Right-click on the Desktop -> Properties -> Advanced -> Your particular Graphics Card tab -> Monitor Tab -> Refresh Rate Listing -> select 60

save and retry the game.

good luck!
