Advice needed on Combat Situation.

Post by Spectre Grey »

Plague biship with celerity and shot gun is totally pwning my Malk. Usually try fists and blood boost with some dementation debuff. I can't seem to kill him be for he kills me. I usally have to get to safe place and blood up and try .. but after 12 consecutive times attempting to beat the biship I am at a loss and verra frustrated.

Any advice appriciated.

If you're melee, you're really going to want around a 7 or 8 in unarmed or melee skill before you tackle him.

I beat him with a 4 in melee. First fortitude up if possible, kill all of the ghouls, I like the shotgun. You have to dance around alot but once you get rid of all the ghouls it gets easier. The bishop doesn't chase you much so when you are severely wounded hide behind one of those messed up partitions in the room. Also, right after he shoots there are about 2 seconds where he has to pump the shotgun that you can use to take potshots at him. Once he is at least 1/2 dead then you can rush him for a melee kill. I recommend the knife.
There are all kinds of creatures that stalk the night and I'm one of them.

i just ducked behind walls and shot at this guy .. smacked any zombies who got close to me with an axe...

i admit this guy was kinda hard but it only took me 3 goes at it .. first time i tried axing him to death .. almost got him, then tried guns and found that alot easier..

in general : sneak .. avoid all the bloodshed and sneak around killing those when you can without causing a major fight .. feeding is a great way to kill silently and get health while doing it.. also by sneaking you can check out rooms and around corners .. so if you need to cause a fight you can choose the best way to do it .. another tactic i found useful was running away (they usually give up and stop or go back to their patrol) and sneaking back and shooting enemies in the arm/leg from around the corner..

edit : typo

I took him down on the first go. It was the closest/most entertaining fight thus far. Bloodshield was on, and i attacked with a knive. Even though i had only 4 in Melee' he took a lot of damage. If you ask me the main problem of this fight is
to suck up all the damage he does to you.
(After the fight i had maybe 1/20 of my lifebar left , one Zombie swing would have put me out of buisness X-)

Actually there's a cheat to pound that guy up with bare fist which i did with a ventrue with no brawl and 1 str points using only bloodbuff and presence. At times ( or most of the time ) the Bishop will run close to the corner or at the door of his room before firing his shotgun. The trick i did was i repeatedly executed the normal 3 hit combo ( Hold W [default button for forward] and left click or hit enter thrice). This way he wont be able to run again and you can waste him fast enough before his gun brings you down.
