Society of Leopold

Im stuck at the end part of the Society of Leopold level... Ive rescued the archeologist.. the timer is ticking and now where the hell do I go? The only thing I could think of to do was run out the way I came in, but even with celerity 3 I cant make it out. Is there some other way Im suppose to go?

Take the powered boat. But beware there is a crash bug in the game.

I just experienced this bug.
Is there anyway to prevent it?
