Lockspitter Scrolls won´t work ?

Hi !

I recently stumbled upon a locked door in a Daedric Shrine. The Lock value was around 70, so I tried using a Lockspitter Scroll (Open 100 on Touch) on it. The scroll was consumed, but the door didn´t open. I tried it several times, even reloaded my savegame, still no luck.

So, anybody got a suggestion why sometimes these scrolls won´t work ?

Maybe you are too far away?

Don´t think so. I was close enough to see the text windows. I once stood immediately on front of the door, didn´t work though.

Try using the scroll on other doors.

it happened to me once i used it to try to get into vivecs palace once.i tried
several times it did not work but after a while it began to work.

If it still doesn't work, just open the console by pressing ~, click the chest so it's id appears at the top of the console screen, type 'unlock' and press enter.

The door will turn purple for a little bit if the spell connected.
