Tribunal question about loot.

Post by miciah »

Hello.

I started Tribunal last week. One thing I've discovered to my surprise is that, unlike Morrowind, if you leave things on the floor in this game they can disappear. I had 4 items that were too expensive to sell at the time that I left on the floor of a dealers shop. I came back later to find that they were gone.

So since scattering things on the floor safely doesn't appear to be an option in Tribunal, how do others here handle this? Does someone know of a chest or closet somewhere that doesn't respawn that would make a good storage area? Or perhaps I should just find a room somewhere with a door I can lock and leave the items on the floor there.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

ok I'm on x box so it might be just a little differant. ok now that that is outta the way I have never had that happen to me yet in mournhold but I usually leave things up stairs not down in front of the dealer. second this is kinda spoilerish so **** spoilerish**** as you are doing the temple missions you will get attacked by a wizard in the great bazar and he will be pretty easy to kill on his body you will find a key to a manor in the manor district ummmm I dont remember what they call it in mournhold but opposite section as the great bazaar. go in in the manor with a 100 lock leval and the name will match the wizards name and you will get attacked by the wizards brother after a brief dialog. this guy is pretty decent and could prove to be a pain in the rear end, at least he was for me. and then I just kinda claimed his house after killing him and nothing has ever happened to any of my stuff in there. hope that helps and good luck I really liked this expansion.

I also claimed Velas Manor for my own and I must say, it was a good idea: my stuff never dissapears, I have a stock-corner for extra food, and I've also turned the house into my personal library (I have every book and sieries in the game except Charwiich-Koninge volume 3, Bone part 1 and the 36 lessons of Vivec [namely because it takes up too much space] ) with conjoined wine rack (I've got a bunch of rare vintages, too)
Get up, stand up. Come on, throw your hands up.

Yes, I also took over Velas Manor, but I wasn't sure if it was safe there since I'd lost my other items inside of a building. It's good to know that I don't have to worry about it. However, it's too bad that the floor and carpeting don't set off items the way the Creeper's floor did. :) It's really hard to see stuff laid out on the floor in Velas Manor.
