where can I find the robe of the neutral archmagi?????
I found the evil on and the good one but havent been able to find the neutral one any help would be appricated.
Well according to the Gamebanshee walkthrough there is no Robe of the Neutral Archmagi in BG: SOA, only in the expansion in which there are two. Personally download the bonus merchants from gamebanshee's main site and get the Robe of Vecna. It's so much better.

You did look in the downloaded file, right? And you did check out the website you downloaded the file from?

what do you mean I downloaded from the site he told me to go to but as Im new to BG2 SoA im unsure what you mean???
The downloaded file is an archive. You know that, since you removed files from me. You also know that one of the files in it is a readme file.
Read it. Are the merchants where it said they would be?

No the merchants were not there and I did read the readme file it stated they were in the adventure mart and the copper inn in the slums I saw no archive files to save it to but will check again I saved in the override files is that wrong?

You should place the files from the bonus merchants archive in the override folder. If you did that, and then you ran the game, and they didn't show up at those two locations, something's wrong.
Did you check all over the two locations? As I recall, the one in the Copper Inn tends to wander around, and I've actually caught him once outside the door of the place. The other one at the Adventurer's Mart, though, is pretty stationary. She should be on the second floor, towards the center.

The adventure mart had 3 people/monsters upstairs 1st was lady Urth something or other , 2nd was a comoner and ,3td was a baby wyvern as for the copper place noone was near there eithor. I went so far as to uninstall and reinstall thinking I place the merchant file in the wrong place but no dice. The readme file said to unzip in bg2soa maybe I did that wrong as I never use zipped files maybe if you walk me through it on instant messanger or step by step procidure here it would be more productive?
Uh this is all kinda confusing to me srry so im just going to post this.
Steps:
1) Download the bonus merchants
2) Unzip them
3) Place everything you unzipped into your BG2 Override File
4) Load your game and go to the merchant's respective locations

Just to be sure, you can't be playing while you make these changes. As Klorox suggests, it wouldn't be a bad idea to reboot your system after installing those files. Then try loading again.
Make sure those files you added were placed in the override directory.

At this point, I have to wonder what was being done wrong. Just out of a sorta fatalistic curiosity.
