Xbox live updates. Why not?

Post by ajdaha »

Hi people. I'm really dissapointed with one thing. Why is it that bioware don't give us more updates from live. Fix a few bugs, give us everything that they have on the PC version.
I mean, why not? Is it really so hard to do?
Ow, wait, how does it work exactly, on the Xbox?
Thank you for the answers.
I am planning a charcter, who, with every item from the PC version, and the LSide mastery bonus, shall have a spell DC of......................................... (check out the suspence)..........21 with master valour ofcourse. And the best items. Plus 20 which every player has naturally. It is 40 now. What is the DC of a spell? I heard that 50 DC is the highest possible, well with 40, and the spells own DC I believe I shall reach 50.
Cool huh?

There are updates on Xbox Live (Yavin, etc). I can only assume that you've found those. To the best of my knowledge, with that upgrade, anything that could be done on the PC can now be done on the Xbox (though, not having played the PC version, I suppose I can't be certain).

If, however, you're asking why there hasn't been any further upgrades from Xbox live, who knows? My guess is that Bioware has moved on to focus on other games, and that Obsidian's focus is on Sith Lords. Besides, patching KOTOR 1 wouldnever have been Obsidian's job to begin with.

I'm not sure if this answers your question, but I thought I'd give it a go.

Thank you for the reply, however I do believe that there still remain a number of outstanding issues which have not, as of yet been patched on the Xbox.
Like for example, the dark/light side mastery should grant bonuses to the charcter like +3 charisma when a fully light consullar, etc.
Also I am not sure if items like the circle of sareesh or the special lighsaber crystals (mantle of the Force and the heart of the guardins) are included in the update for the xbox.
That's what I mean. But if they are, please do tell me, because it would seem like I have been terrily, fataly mistaken.

Lucas can go suck on an egg. This guy has no brains left anyway, I bet Episode 3 is gonna be trully ****. Episode II was just a fluke, epsiode 1 is where you can see the true, talenless Lucas at his best. I mean, starwars was just a fluke for him, what a nobhead he is. Just look at how many failed games he has made, he never tries anything new, he just coppies what is already there.
I haven't seen the original episodes but when I do check them out, I'm sure they shall disapoint me.
The true magic of Starwars is what each person can mould out of it. I have my favourite bits and so does everyone else, but I bet their favourite bits aren't what mine are. That's what happens when you include so much random bull**** in a story. Some people will have to end up loving some of it, and the rest, we just try to ignore. Just look at that spastic fish/kangaroo in episode 1, what the hell was that LUCAS, I ASK YOUUU?

Ajdaha, that last post of yours is unacceptable in these forums. First, it has nothing to do with solving problems involving gameplay: it's a rant about the films and their producer. If you want to complain about that, go to the SYM (Speak Your Mind) forum. Second, you may want to check out what the site owner has to say in the forum rules concerning expletives. He's serious about people following those rules, too.

Since this thread no longer serves a purpose except as a soapbox, it's closed.
