I want to keep my defender

Hi guys .
I do need the defender to keep my AC to -18.
But i have tried every thing and the mage always appears and stoles it.
I even tried to give it to jaheria and then boot her ..but she says that i won't see her again and in fact she is not at the harper's guild. What could i do ..please help me

This has nothing to do with your ? ,but why do you want your AC at -18? The game only figures damage at -10. Anything else is for nothing.

Now as for your ? Lucian tried (I believe) to give it to a different person and the mage kept coming back even then.

Don't try to kill him because he cannot die.

From what I remember Lucian couldn't even run off the screen to get away from him.

Does the mage exactly steal the weapon or does he just appear. My sis imported the weapon (stuff were dissapearing and she did want something in return) and the mage just stood there. He did totally mess up all conversations exept the ones with the storyline. How do you get rid of him?

From what I understand he appears and just takes your stuff and I don't think you can get rid of him.
