Red Paper Lanterns

Post by dragon wench »

I am doing a bit of interior decorating, and I'm wondering if somebody can help me out.

At one point I found, probably in a cave or something, a really nice red paper lantern. It is square, and has a really attractive red glow... I have not found any more, so I looked in the construction set.. but there are all kinds of paper lantern codes, and I can't tell which I need. If need be, I'll check every one, but I'm hoping somebody might know :)

Try this: bring up the console, then click on the object so its code shows up at the top of the console screen. If that doesn't help sufficiently, type ORI, and it should tell you the object name within the game.

I've never personally experienced a red paper lantern, however, if you can't find any more, I geuss some of the red bamboo candles from Morag Tong guildhalls would make a decent substitute

Thanks Fable, that worked!

I may also hunt down some of those candles though, I had forgotten about them.

lmao! It is a good thing there are not actual fire hazards in Morrowind, were that the case I'd likely be setting half the island alight :D

If anybody is interested, the code for those red lanterns is:
light_de_lantern_14
They look quite nice with the red wallscreens sold at the Moon Temple furniture store.

Anyway, if you want to close this thread Fable, my question has been answered ;)

Glad that worked for you. :) Regarding the candles, I did exactly what you did--I visited a 6th house cave, and grabbed several for my alchemy study. :D And there are several other furniture shops, some of which add a variety of light fixtures in different colors, too.

Thread closed. :)
