Sibling Rivalry Quest *spoiler*

Post by Greg »

Will I meet again my Ivory Princess, the White Daughter of Janus?
For non-Malks: will Jeanette and/or Therese play a role later on in the game, after ending the sibling rivalry quest?

*SPOILER AHEAD*

If yes, what if you convined the one to kill the other? And how would the game behave if both were still "alive"?

I'm not asking for spoilers on the story here, I'm just having a hard time deciding wether I want to help the two get along or help Jeanette get rid of her uptight sister :)

has anyone else had the problem of not being able to get anyone but therese to survive? i've tried numerous times to either resolve the conflict, or have it end in jaenette's favor, but all that happens is therese shoots her... could it possibly be becuase i gave the necklace i found in the hotel to jaenette?

yes you must not give the necklace to jeanette no matter how mush she pouts...then you will fail the quest and possibly make it impossible to get jeanette to "survive".

There is no difference in what can be gained(to my knowledge) making one or the other "sister" live. Although if you can get the two of them to make up you get 2 xp points instead of just one.

Another thing: Has anyone gotten Jeanette to sleep with your character after you visited Hollywood? In another Forum I read that's possible if you give Jeanette the necklace from ocean house and have a high enough seduction feat.

Did anyone do this? Is the necklace really necessary?

- the necklace is necessary to complete the Mansion By The Ocean quest .. if not the other sister freaks out and you fail .. but the story does continue with the main quest that is to find Tung

- as for getting Janette to sleep with your character .. i dunno .. didnt try

I had enough persuasion to convince the two to get along... and I think I got extra credit for it too (not sure).
