Is there a way to get Knox to tell you the whole story about this (thus gaining more XP), without being a malk? I'm currently playing a Gangrel with 5 in persuade.

I'm playing a Gangrel too. The best social feat I have is 2 levels in Intimidation.

As a Toreador and Malkavian I found Knox in front of the Medical Clinic. As a Gangrel I didn't cross paths with him until I entered The Asylum. As long as you apologise to him (if you treated him badly in the first time you speak with him) or are reasonable, he should give you the quest and any information he can with your current stats.

Well, being a Ventrue with Dominate is more or less the same thing, but its not being a Malk!

I can get the quest from him just fine. But if your a malk (or apparently, a ventrue) you can find out hes not telling you the whole truth and get a few extra EXP.

You need a perception of 3. Which is a bit weird, since perception is not a feat.
