They both have Evil alignments of one type or another. So taking either will depend on your overall alignment/intent. Do you need a fighter (Korgan) or a mage (Edwin)?

That is the question!
I don't know what I need:
second mage or third fighter?
So,what do you think?

I myself prefer 2 fighters (1 which is a paladin) 3 mages(1 which is a dual theif) 1 cleric. It depends on your playing style.

OK. My style....

Kel d'Orion 1/2 Elf F/M/T
Anomen C/F (in Cleric mode)
Minsc R (fighter type)
Jaheira F/D
Nalia M/T
OPEN (depends on where I am and what side quest I'm on. This slot is filled by Imoen after I 'rescue' her)

Most of it depends on your own style.....

Ok I like mages. Here's my lineup.
Conjurer(me)
Fighter/Druid(Jaheira)
Ranger(Minsc)
Mage/Thief(Imoen)
Mage/Thief(Nalia)
Mage/Cleric(Aerie)
I say take Edwin. But I do fine with only two good fighters, so that may just be me. I really think you need Edwin because your mage/cleric's (must be Aerie) mage power just does not match up to a true mage's power. You're missing out on the best spells, some of which Aerie will never get without exceeding the cap (level 8).

I have:
Me-undead hunter
Mazzy-fighter
Minsc-ranger
Jaheira-fighter/druid
Aerie-mage/cleric
Imoen-thief/mage

Mazzy and my pc use melee weapons and the rest use ranged weapons. this lineup seems to work pretty good.

If you depend more on spells take Edwin. If you depend more on fighters take Korgan. They are both the best. As i have said it depends on you.

Both.

Or Neither.

You have a Paladin who won't get on with either of these.

That's right Ivanhoe. Totally forgot about that. Always remember that good/evil members in a party will usually conflict, causing the death of one or the other.

Yes but if it is a paladin he/she created there will not be a conflict that will cause a death.

True, but your pc's alignment should also reflect your reputation, if you are truly roleplaying. Therefore if you are lawful good, you should strive for a rep. of 20, and that would cause your evil charcters to leave, which is essentially just as bad as a member dying.
