Big Safe in Skyline Hotel 3rd floor. **SPOILERS**
Big Safe in Skyline Hotel 3rd floor. **SPOILERS**
I found a bigg safe at some ladies apartment on third floor of the skyline Hotel, Downtown. There is a computer outside of that room that can unlock the safe. What is the password becuase my hacking is nowhere close to what it requires. I just gotta see what is inside there, the lady seems rich, and i need money.

The safe contains some rings and a watch.
But whats the fun in asking for the pasword, you decided not to put that many points in hacking, so your good at some other things.
Why not just edit in some money, thats just as much cheating as asking for the pasword that you (as your character) couldnt possibly know.

I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

u r right, though what about if i already passed the game once and i just remember the pass? lol , though i like to boost hacking skill - i like the hacking process itself
btw , about lockpicking : if u have ability of 10 - does it worth it? , when i first passed the game i didnt boost it more than 2 , so together with blood buff i accomplished quests, what about all those doors that require high skill? any special treats in there?

Well if you remember the pass, doesnt mean your character does (role-playing). When you play like that you should edit in alot of exp. and give yourself 10hacking.
And behind some doors can be a goody, or just a shortcut etc. Hacking is more important then lockpicking in my opinion.

Yea, i guess its considered cheating. I havent used the console yet. The game is good, very good and inflicts addiction. I wont use the console and XP points dont come around too easy, same with money. I want to play the game for the story. Its way different from Redemption, but hey, this game brings my gaming system to its knees, so its gotta be worth it.

I cheat like crazy. It's another one of those things I justify as being a Malkavian. "Eh...he tapped into the Madness Network. Or had a vision while he slept. That's what did it." Not so easy to justify all the XP I've gifted, but I'll figure something out.
Next time through I won't cheat. And I'll get slaughtered.
