How long ago did you talk to Keldorn, and where was it you dismissed him? It does take a while for him to reappear. Also, he spends time with his family. When that happens, he tends to vanish for a while. Try leaving that area of the city, so another module loads. Then go back.

Yeah, Idon't know what you all are talking about, he's looking for Yoshi... Must have been a misunderstanding.
Chosen, I know you've checked it hundred times, but he really should be there, next to Korgan & Anomen. Enter through the right-hand entrance of the Copper Coronet. Some people are sitting there drinking, Korgan is on the left, Yoshi must be straight ahead.
If he's not there, that must have a reason, I don't think it's a bug.
When did you leave him and where are you know?

Yoshimo was in my party but I changed him out for Keldorn insted and said to him to wait for me in Copper Coronet,
Looked to me like he'd dumped Yoshimo in favor of Keldorn, then told the latter to wait at the Copper Coronet.
In any case, if he dropped Yoshimo, he may have to wait a game-established period of time, or at the very least leave the area, then return, so the variables are reset.
Parhaps you chose the "wait here" option.
It would be wise to visit the sewers where you found Keldorn. He may still be there.
What I meant was that you may have accidently said "wait here", therefore he would be where you met Keldorn. This is quite possible, you just might have forgotten. At anyrate its worth checking out.

same problem
Hey. Not sure if this thread is still active, but I thought I'd mention that I had the same problem as the original poster. That is, I CAN'T FIND THAT DAMNABLE YOSHIMO. This started in Chapter 2. On-going in Chapter 3 (soon to be four I think). I left him in the place where you pick up Mazzy. Then I went back to him and after doing some party juggling, told him to go back to the Copper Coronet in Athkatla. He never showed up again. Killed? Eaten? Out for coffee? Who knows.
All I know is that I can't find the only worthwhile thief in the game (so far at least). And that has got me in trouble with Cowled Wizards (by casting Knock in town), etc. Any suggestions? I've gone back to the dungeon where you find Mazzy 2-3 times and searched all over. I've been in and out of the Coronet dozens of times.
Oh, speaking of which, I can't get the second part of the Mazzy duel quest to trigger in there either. I talked to the ogre or whomever outside the Coronet. I talked to Surly. He pointed me to some girl named Bunkin and after that I couldn't find Bunkin ("the girl in yellow") or the ogre. Just bar patrons. And talking to them didn't help.
Thanks for any help in advance. Or just take this as commentary on the thread.

I never liked Yoshimo from the get go. When I later read how the plot progresses with him I remember thinking, "hey, that's really awesome. Developers took NPC interaction even further," but I was, at the same time, not particularly surprised.
Let me have a chance to interject this as well, since you seem to be in need of a thief: GET JAN. If you have never played through the game with Jan, you are missing a lot. He's hilarious, hes a specialized mage, and hes a full on thief. Definitely some fun times with mislead and prot from spells divinity. Also, everybody can use a little mage in them. Stoneskins can be the equivalent of hundreds of hit points by the time you get to ToB (especially if you are playing on a harder difficulty setting).

Right you are, Ken.

why Yoshimo?
Miscreant, thank you for the suggestion. I'll have to go looking for him, since I haven't seen him yet (I think he's supposed to be found initially in the Government District, but I've been there dozens of times already and seen him maybe once and never again).
However, I wanted Yoshimo back since I know (from reading low spoilers) that he's involved in the main story arc somehow. And I want to know whether or not I'm just missing him someplace else or if what I'm experiencing is a game bug.
Thanks again though.

There's a chance that Yoshimo died somehow or you really offended him. (I don't know how you would do that but it's possible)
Jan is a very good character to have around if you need a thief, although he is lacking in both mage (no necromatic) and thief (not a very good backstabber). He has alot of character and can develope into a really useful thief at disarming, stealing and dispelling things.
I don't like Yoshi, he's weak and annoying for several reasons.

, it has yet to return
Yoshimo, possible spoiler
Have you sided with Bodhi or the shadow thieves yet? When I sided with Bodhi I was going to bring Yoshimo with me to spellhold. However he was no longer at the Copper Coronet (neither was the Tuigan bow he was carrying). I did not do a reload to see if siding with Bodhi was the reason for his disappearing trick but I believe he may not want you to side with her.

bodhi connection?
zwadz: Interesting thought. I met Bodhi's messenger some time prior to looking for Yoshimo again. He was missing before I actually talked to her, but I ended up following through on that plot choice. Perhaps that's tied to his absence.
Theory - If you fall out of favor with the Thieves Guild, Yoshimo becomes unavailable?
He never mentioned being affiliated with them to me (in my game), but perhaps it's a trigger nonetheless.
