blood-covered character -> masquerade violation!

Post by el pedro »

Someplace in the warrens my character turned all red (I assume it's supposed to mean my character is all covered in blood or something..), and I thought: "whatever, I don't care.."

Now I can't get back the normal colors of my character - and that's not the end of it; I get a masquerade violation only by showing myself to humans, as though I was a nosferatu or something, which I'm not..

Is this supposed to happen? What do I do?

Are you playing a Tremere? Or have you used the console to give yourself Thaumaturgy? If so, you're probobly using Bloodshield. just press F8 and it should be canceled.

nope, i'm playing a brujah female. Didn't know it was a thaumathurgy effect. Pressing f8 doesn't help (I haven't changed any of the key settings). must be a bug then. I'll just have to load an earlier save (****! I've played for hours since I got the stuff)
