Branwen. She never became as good as Viconia of course.
I tried to keep Feldorn for more than three minutes lots of times to see how she would turn out but somehow she never survives for long...

I guess that's the challenge with Garrick. He is SUCH a pansy. You could charm a squirrel, have the wee squirrel attack Garrick and Garrick would find a way to die.

I want to put some meat on his bones, put some hair on his chest.

But admittedly, Garrick or Branwen aren't that obscure though.

Has anyone maxed out Tiax for example?

One character I almost always played with that some consider a pansy is Xan. I just like the sword. He's actually a a good mage and keeps you from using cheese tactics if he's your only mage. But the little people are always amusing. I've thought of doing a little people party plenty of times but Quayle and Tiax are just too far into the game.

And I agree...

Xan is the man!!

His dread and persistent impending sense of doom keeps me well entertained. I just heard a line from him I hadn't heard before, something like "The majesty of the forest makes me feel soooo insignificant" :p

I'd play Xan a lot more if I knew where his voice files were, so I could shut him up... I've maxed him before, and I think he had like 15 hp at the end.

I think Xan's voice packet is hilarious! Only sad that he's so weak...
Smile everyone, smile! This is like some great Fantasy!

Well Garrick isn't one of the best characters in BG but if you don't want to powerplay he's a fun character. I kinda like his soundset and he's an OK crossbowman. Plus it is pretty useful to have someone with high lore and pickpocket skill around.

Quayle and Tiax are kinda OK too if you know what you want. Quayle is fine cleric/illusionist/slinger if you accept that not every character can have all stats 18. Tiax is fun to have around and if I remember correctly he has high HP.
The problem is that the people with the most ridiculous ideas are always the people who are most certain of them.
