Stuck at gate to green griffon inn

Ok, am with henchman grimsgnaw (great guy) as a female fighter. Can't get past the three (dwarves) at the entrance. Have been there before. But We are both killed really fast, but the three short guys. Any help for this newb? thanks Lady Cee

Prepare for the fight before coming into this area. In the prior area (where the goblin/orc and bugbear caves are) drink all your buff potions, use your Rod of the Ghost (if you have one), give Grimnaw as many buff potions as possible and then move into the Green Griffon Inn area. That should give you an edge over the three dwarves.

Furthermore, concentrate on one dwarf. Use healing potions quickly! These guys are quite tough.

One handy thing too: You need to let them attack you and then walk about so they miss every shot. It's really handy, especially when you have Dealan Red Tiger as a Henchman, becuase he's very strong, so he can kill them easily. You can also buy a summon creature spell. Preferably a summon creature VI or higher
