Expectations?

Post by Noober »

I'm 20 minutes in and seriously bored (I especially hated the menus). What can I expect from the rest of the game, and in particular, the NPCs?
"Heya! Have you been to Baldur's Gate? I've been to Baldur's Gate... Oops, stepped into something. Have you stepped into something?"

The game has its flaws. However once you manage to look past this it's a truly great game. I'm playing through for the third, or was that forth, time. Playing as a Malkavian right now, it's a blast.

entertained

I had to spend alot of money on ram. ( run the game on a laptop )

but once i got a gig of ram, and the game was playable, i started to enjoy it.

spent most of my time on loading screens before so im not to far into it, but i thought the ocean hotel was incredibly creepy!!!!

im playing as a gangrel (first run thru)..

the npc interaction needs work. seems like no matter what you say it winds up in the same place. But like i said, im not that far into the game..

Id love to see this game go MMORPG. I think the Masquerade world could be great!! But, Im satisfied with the single player.

Redemption did an online thingy, and it was cool, but short replay value. But yes, A V:TM MMORPG would simply own, if done well of course. :D
Wow, that really would own. But I wonder if it would have wide enough of a fan base to sell, ones not into V:TM would simply see it as a horror genre game, and be disapointed when finding out they can only play vampires.
But anywhoo, I'd sure as hell play it.

Could we please stay focused on Noober's subject of this game's content, in this thread? He wants to know what to expect further along, and whether it's only more of the same. Thanks.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

- it depends what your focus in the game is as far as expectations .. if you're sick of side quests and doing something for someone to get something else .. that is what the game is through out

- i recently bought Half Life 2 (Bloodlines uses the same engine) i finished it rather easily and was very dissapointed with the end of the story, not only the end but questions that no doubt most people had for charcters and factions within the game go unanswered .. however i feel they have left it like that so that addons(expansion packs) can be made for it .. can only hope and with that hope .. they do the same with Bloodlines

- i've already read articles about the gaming community creating their own side quests that they can fit into the main theme of Bloodlines Single Player
