Post by trecool »

Bodhi has told me she would be able to find Imoen for me for the price of 15000.
I accepted it...but previously when i play BG2...i chose to take the Shadow Thieves aid..can anyone know if there will be any different if i accept Bodhi's help?

Basically you will have to whup up on the Shadow Thieves in a series of quests from Bodhi. Eventually you have to invade the Shadow Thieves Guild and take on Aran Linvail and his minions. After besting him, you get some Elven chain mail (among other things) that Aerie can wear with no hindrance to spell-casting. Additionally, you won't have to fight the vampires in Bodhi's immediate area -- for the time being anyway.

Bodhi arranges for the ship, though this time there will be no ambush from vampires once you land in Brynnlaw. Siding with Bodhi means a lot better equipment and experience than siding with the Shadow Thieves. Since you fight Bodhi later anyways you have rid the world of two great evils than just one.

None of the good aligned characters in your party will like siding with vampires though and some might pack up and leave forever if you do. You can dismiss them and have them rejoin later though, playing with the more evil minded folks instead for a while.
