Is Protean discipline affected by Brawl/melee

got a few character points i want to spend, got to use them on fighting skillz cuz i get my arse kicked by Jezebel

so my question is same as topic, is it affected by the brawl or the melee skill

or neither? ( the claws do more damage if i increase melee skill or brawl skill )

Protean benefits from the unarmed feat, so increasing your brawl (talent) and strength (physical attribute) will increase that. eg. my Gangrel is currently Strength (4) and Brawl (4) so that means he has an unarmed feat (8). Ofcourse, higher levels in Protean give you better use of the unarmed feat ...
