main character:
Laura Palmer: Fighter/Cleric
I'm playing BGII for the second time and am trying out a different party. After watching perfect party sections on this site, I decided to put anomen in instead of Jaheira. Then suddenly i remembered the jaheira quest (somthing with jaheira going away for a while) I guess i don't get to play this quest when i kick her out. I forgot if there are valuable items/much experience etc related to this quest.
Considering this "lost" quest, is it wise to still choose anomen and is there a way to choose anomen and still play the quest?
second question:
mincs, or valygar?
jaheira quest
jaheira quest

With my solo sorcerer I kicked Jahiera straight away from my party (or never let her join in the first place) and I just went about my business until I got the poisoned man quest.
When I brought him to the hold Xzar came along anyway and gave me the begining of the Montaron quest and I completed that easily. Then nothing happens after you finish that end of business.
Being a sorceror I wanted that Ring of Wizardy so I invited Jahiera back into the party and immediately Meronia came along and activated the rest of the harper quest.
Killed Galvery, got my ring, did the Jahiera curse and kicked her out again.
~
Usually my parties consist of two full fighters, one half fighter, one full mage and atleast a half mage.
This more often than not is the layout I use...
Protagonist (Bard, Priest)
Keldorn (fighter, mage destroyer)
Yan (thieving, backup mage)
Nalia (pure mage)
Valygar (fighter)
Jahiera (healer, fighter
I alter it depending on my protagonist, but there are other things I just don't like Anomen is good but is too obnoxious for my tastes.

Spoiler
, it has yet to return
Firstly, Thanks for the answers...
I guess It's also a matter of taste...I disliked whiny Anomen and didn't think him well enough a fighter, so I decided that Jaheira (which you have to admit is a pretty cool character
) could stay
Now, same party, only different question:
The way my party is right now, it has three multi-class characters
Laura Palmer: fighter/cleric
Jan: mage/thief
Jaheira: fighter/druid
either Mincs, or Valygar: ranger
Keldorn: paladin
Nalia: Mage
I figured, the levels will not go up quickly with 9 characters the exp has to divide itself up. Do you have any recommendations for this party (especially considering the 3 multi-class characters...
i already thought of kicking jan for Imoen, when i have the chance...but then my party is almost the same as it was when i played it the first time....
Thanks
