A big problem!

Post by Nevl »

I'm replaying the game now, and a bit of a problem has come up just recently...
I have reached lvl 19 (the maximum lvl). Since I've arrived on the island of spellhold, or the asylum if you prefer, sleeping doesn't heal me... it replenishes my stuff, spells, item charges etc. but the char doesn't heal.
I had debug mode 1 active, but only used the teleport thing... (I'm playing a solo barbarian)

As a solo barbarian, the only healing spells you should've had would be the Cure Lights from the Bhalspawn abilities ... I'm guessing you just (highlight to view) lost your soul to Irenicus, and hence have lost your Bhalspawn abilities. Therefore, you no longer have any cure spells - resting will only recover something like 1 or 2 HP naturally. You'll have to resort to potions or trips to a temple ... that or equip some kind of regeneration item.

You can also get a Ring of Regeneration in the Asylum ... did you know about that one? It's not as good as Gaxx, but it would certainly do the trick ... although if you missed it, there's no going back for it - you'll have to decide if it's worth going back to a previous save game ...

Well your using CLUAConsole commands to port around so you COULD go back and get it if you want... Or you could just give yourself the item.

Though if your a fighter... ring of regen seems to take forever to heal you up

Or you could spend 72 days to heal you (with the "Sleep until healed" option :D )

You should be constantly finding potions of healing in the game, with just one character and an insane amount of money you should be easily able to buy any potions you need or even go to a temple when they become available.
