Console causes crashes?

Right, I'm annoyed with this game already, there have been too numerous problems with it to count. (Although the wrongly spelled "Wraith" when LaCroix says "Wrath" just about takes the biscuit.)

Actually my problem is relatively simple. Every time I pull up the console, I can type in commands fine, but when I exit it, the game has frozen. This happens on all counts, except when I used the little fixer on the Society of Leopold bug.

Anyone else got the same problem?

Solved my own problem...

*Furious blushing*

After furious keyboard-bashing, I have discovered a solution to my own predicament. Just press "Esc." after first exiting the console.
