Correct me if I am wrong but...
After doing many searches and talking to other people I know, there still is some confusion about missle weapon damage. I thought that all thrown weapons, i.e. darts, daggers, axes get your strength bonus added to the damage total. Projectile weapons do not. This means all bows, crossbows, and slings normally do not. Now someone told me that some magic bows and crossbows actually do allow a strength bonus. I thought they took that out after seeing that projectile weapons were to strong in BG1. So can anyone set me straight please?
Best to remain silent and thought a fool, then to open ones mouth and remove all doubt
The Sling of Seeking +2 grants you your strength bonuses for damage only.
I don't believe there are any bows that do this however.
